This punk anthem from 1978 saw the marriage of Stuart Adamson's
unflinching guitar barrage with Richard Jobson's indecipherable
vocal exertions.....a classic! The intro/main riff is played to
a large extent with the strings palm muted - you'll have to 
listen to the recording to get the hang of it. Anyway,crank it 
up and enjoy. The song is in E.
