Tablature is mostly (but not exclusively) seen for reticulate stringed instruments, in which environment it is commonly titled journalism for brief (except for lute tablature).
It is ofttimes utilised for the guitar, bass, lute, archlute, theorbo, anglique, mandora, gallichon, and vihuela, but in generalisation it crapper be utilised for some reticulate instrument, including ukulele, mandolin, banjo, and viola da gamba, as substantially as some liberated wood aerophones much as the harmonica.

Band: Tool
Song: Eon Blue Apocalypse
Albumn: Lateralus, track 2

My interpertation of the song:

Tuning: Dropped D
(Tune your low string down to D, a full step below standard. Leave all other strings standard)
Strings: 1E, 2B, 3G, 4D, 5A, 6D

Play: Fun, short instrumental.
Two guitars at work here.
Not sure about a Bass part.
I've divided it into two sections.
You'll have to listen to the song to get an idea as to the flow and whatnot.
Easy to play on an acoustic.
Underscores indicate a held note.
Also, pick near the bridge to create the proper effect.

Note: This isn't the exact timing. You'll have to hear the song to get it right on.
Play either or both strings, but watch your timing.
Play throughout Section 1.

Note: The timings I've got down ought to be accurate enough.
Careful with the 8 to 3 part, its tricky.

Section #2: (starts 40 seconds into the song)

Guitar:

D--------------------------0_______------------------------------------------------------0______
									                (strum)

Note: The flow on this is a bit slow, so watch it.
My timings are a bit off, but more or less ok.
Also, on the hammer and pull-off 3p2h3, the first note is held for just a tiny second.
And, on the very last 3h5, I'm not certain that those are the right notes, but it sounds ok.
Just remember to pick near the bridge.
