Tablature is mostly (but not exclusively) seen for reticulate stringed instruments, in which environment it is commonly titled journalism for brief (except for lute tablature).
It is ofttimes utilised for the guitar, bass, lute, archlute, theorbo, angélique, mandora, gallichon, and vihuela, but in generalisation it crapper be utilised for some reticulate instrument, including ukulele, mandolin, banjo, and viola da gamba, as substantially as some liberated wood aerophones much as the harmonica.

Sound of Sounds - GOMEZ
Album: In Our Gun

This song uses open G tuning with a capo at the third fret,
if you think it's too much of a pain in the ass to
change from standard to open G, it really isn't so
it is worth trying it out. At the end of the tab is a short
explanation about how to easily tune to open G from standard.

open G tuning - (D-B-G-D-G-D)
String number	(1-2-3-4-5-6)

Chords used (relative to capo at third):

Bb	D#/G	F G#	Cm
0 0	0 3	(2)
0 1	3 1 1
0 0	2 2 2
0 2	0 3 2
0 0	2 X 2
0 2	X	(3) X

(play the bracketed notes if you can, but I don't think they're essential)

The placement of the chords over the words isn't exact, so you'll have
to listen to it to get the exact timing of chord changes. In some places
when the Bb D#/G chords are played next to each other they are swapped
over a few times, not just played one then the other, just listen to
it and you'll get the idea as I'm pretty damn sure that these chords
are right, or at least very close to right as Gomez have probably
used some other fucked up alternative tuning.

Do you ever stop and wonder

	    Bb D#/G Bb<---D#/G<---(swap between
Where you'd be without her? these 2 chords)

Bb D#/G	over and over

How to tune to open G easily.
Tune your sixth string done to D by comparing it to the fourth string, ie Dropped D
Then tune the fifth string to the fifth fret of the sixth string.
Then tune the first string to the Third fret of the Second String.

so the second thirs and fourth strings don't need to be changed,
Too Easy,
