This is almost the exact same thing as the CD. I take that back, it's the exact same thing. I tabbed this myself, and I've played along with the CD ten zillion times and played this is concert with my band. So, here it is: I Want It That Way. Enjoy! Tabbed by: Cris (lemon_angel@alloymail.com) Into: E--------------------------------------------0----| B-----2--------3-2--------------3-----------------| G-------2-----------2-------2-------------2-----2-| D------------------------0-------------2----------| A---0-------------------------------0-------------| E-2---------2-------------------------------------| You just keep playing this through the first part, but when you get to "I want it that way" in the verses, you play E A VERSE 1 You are, my fire The one, desire Believe, when I say A E I want it that way But we, are two worlds Apart, can't reach to Your heart, when you say A E I want it that way *now here it changes to chords for the chorus* D E F# Tell me why, Ain't nothing but a heartache D E F# Tell me why, ain't nothing but a mistake F# Tell me why, I never wanna hear you say A E I want it that way Right here, it goes back to the fingerplay above for the verse Am I, you're fire Your one, desire Yes I know, it's too late E A But I want it that way CHORUS I have to finish the bridge and the key change, maybe I'll get my buddy to do it. But that's basically it, it's a pretty easy song. If you do this with a band or something, after you do the fingerplaying for the first verse, after it goes to "But we are two worlds apart," I would suggest getting another guitar to do the chorus along with it. It sounds cool when you do it like that, so try it. You'll see what I mean....
