LUCY BY 54-40
FROM THE ALBUM "SMILIN' BUDDAH CABARET"

here goes one of the easier, punkier 54-40 tunes

   D#5 A#5 G#5
e--------------|
B--------------|
G--8-----------|
D--8----8----6-|
A--6----8----6-|
E-------6----4-|

iNTRO D#5 A#5 G#5 D#5 (REPEATED)

D#5
WOULD YA LIKE TO BE DOWN,

A#5
IN A HOLE?

G#5
JUST TO SAY IF YOU GET OUT NOW,

D#5
WHERE WOULD YA GO?

...or something like that. The rhytm for the chorus is different,
but basically the entire song is based on those 3 chords (punk!).
The bridge in the middle is the bass sliding between the root
notes (E-11-11-11/6-6-6/4-4-4\11-11-11) while the guitar picks
the 3 magic chords. Thats it, enjoy!

Tim

BONUS: Luv U all's main riff:

D-----2---2-------------2---2-----0---0-----|
A-3-3---3---3-3---3-3-3---3---1-1---1---1-1-|

the rest is on it's way..
