It is ofttimes utilised for the guitar, bass, lute, archlute, theorbo, angélique, mandora, gallichon, and vihuela, but in generalisation it crapper be utilised for some reticulate instrument, including ukulele, mandolin, banjo, and viola da gamba, as substantially as some liberated wood aerophones much as the harmonica.

"Blue" by Elastica
>From the album Elastica

transcribed by Patrick Glass (pglass@comp.uark.edu)

I learned this song from the acoustic demo on some B-sides (if you want
to know, it's on the "Connection" single in the UK, and the "Stutter"
single in Europe and Austrailia)

On the album version there's some really strange intro thing, and I don't
know how it goes. Basically, the whole song is 4 chords...

A, F, E, and D

wow, isn't that hard!

here's how it goes with the lyrics

A F
John's gone his sense is loaded
E D A
over by your house it's so basic
  F E D
I think you're faking have a good time but don't get into my head
A F
Do you recommend I wait a while
E D
direct and live or keep it constant and selective

Chorus:

A
Blue
      F E D
I can read your mind, if you want to I will let you
A
Blue
      F E D
I can read your mind, if you want to I will let you

(after the chorus bit, on the album version, acoustic just repeats the
first verse)

A	F	E	D

A F E D
John's gone, he needs attention do you understand his inclination?
A F E D
I've seen you shaking, comedown here and I'll show you the wrong way
A F F
try to rearrange this tired old line connect this smile and
D
keep it standard and reflective

Repeat chorus

End with the bridge

A	F	E(slow down here) D	A
